I finally got a motor, it is a Minn Kota 30 lb thrust, I have one question though, I have heard guys say that you should turn the head of the motor around which make sense to me, how do I do this, does anybody have any tips?

that's the same motor i have on my toon. are you putting it on the back or the front of your toon.
i turned the head of mine around by undoing the screw and turning it 180 and putting the screw back in. i have my motor on the front and i like it alot better than the back.

The back for now, I just don't want to have stuff cluttered up in front of me while I am fishing.

[black]When you put the nut and bolt back in, make sure all the wires are out of the way. I am with you. I have my motor on the back, doesn't seem to drain that much on the battery with it pulling you, also, a lot easier to steer and land fish in front of you (which I like cause I do practise catch and release, so I only raise them for a pix, then they are on their way.[/black]
[black]I am stickly fly fishing and I think that is also why I like the motor in the back, specially on windy days.[/black]
