Just flew into town from work and have some limited time. I've been promising my 13 yr old a fishing trip. Upon discussion with him It has been decided we want to target channel kitty's. Was thinking Lindon boat harbor? My yrs past experience with catfish was always best at late evening and night , so we will be heading down around 4 or 5 pm. how ever I've never been there, and would appreciate any advice from any of you experienced Utah Lake masters.
Thanks Lonnie

[cool][#0000ff]Not sure if you are aware, but they close Lindon about 10 PM.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]The wind might be a factor. If so, you can fish inside the harbor with some expectation of success. Or, depending on wind direction, you can fish on the outside...especially near the vegetation on the north side of the north dike. You will get fewer snags by fishing under a bobber...about 3 to 4 feet, depending on water depth where you are fishing.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Inside the harbor, you can fish just about anywhere along the west dike or the north dike. Some folks do pretty well right back in the northeast or southwest corners.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]There should at least be some bullhead action, even if the channels are playing hard to get.[/#0000ff]

Thanks Tube dude, I'm a fat old fart who can't stay up much past 10 anyway. Plus we have to get home in time for Doug Miller. Thanks for the info though, My hope is the kids can get into a couple of fishies of some veriety. As for myself , I fly all over the country installing starbucks, and I've been out for 60 straight days (not the usual but were short handed right now) Which reminds me If anyone reading has any millwork installation experience, were hiring, Great Job with benefits and perks (frequent flyer miles ect) fairly easy work, great for semi retired, good money. If interested PM me Thanks Lonnie
