Lindon Saturday Night

Well headed down to Lindon again this weekend for an overnighter. Started fishing on the south side of the south dike. Got there around 4:15 and had 1 white bass and 3 mud cats in the first 20minutes. Fished there until about 7 and only picked up one more mud cat. Went and started fishing the north side of the north dike and caught 1 mud cat then caught a 8 3/4 channel. Caught 3 more channels by 11 3, 4.5 and 5 pounds. Fished all night and had one cat break my line around 4 in the morning then picked up a 7.5 pound kitty at around 9 in the morning. At around 1030 switched over to trying for some crappies inside the harbor. Caught 1 crappie, 1 sunfish and about 7 blue gills. I caught the biggest cat on shrimp and night crawler and 3 on red sides and one on a chub. I also caught 19 mud cats for the night. Here are pictures of the 2 biggest ones.

Thanks dude appreciate all the helpful hints you have given me and others on this page. I caught the white bass and 3 of the first 4 mud cats on the jig with minnow that you recommended. Tried it later in the day with no success though. Think I will have to get the wife and kids down there soon. That 7.5 lber tried killing me, had to chase it half way down the dike screaming drag the entire time.

[cool][#0000ff]Wait 'til you hook a BIG one. There were a couple over 20 pounds landed down there last year about this time, and several others that are probably still dragging around the rods they stole...showing them off to their catfish buddies.[/#0000ff]
