Kolob

[size 1]I am thinking of going up to Kolob this weekend and was wondering if anyone has gone up yet? The UT division of wildlife says it is accessible by vehicle and I would like to pull my RV up there. I would love to get up there Get my toon on the water and try and catch one of those keepers (release it of course). Thx in advance [/size]

Fished Kolob this past Saturday. The roads are clear and there is no snow to be seen. There were many people with RVs and ATVs. The fishing was a little less impressive as normal. The fish are all really shallow about 2-10 feet off of shore spawning. We caught some but it was slow because they seemed to be way more interested in each other and less interested in anything that I threw at them. It is a beautiful lake with great temperature right now. It should be good again in a week or two.

Thx for the info. It is a beautiful place, love to get out of Vegas and go up there not much scenery like that around here. Did you try any egg patterns around the dam? The wind is supposed to blow this weekend so I may be spending more time on shore then in my toon.
