Back from Baja, WOW!

San felepe was a wonderful 90 degrees all week. the first day of fishing I caught the Jack pot fish, a 20.4 lbs Cabria,it would liked to of pulled my arm off. The second day out our Pongadera put us on Yellow tail 25 lb adveradge, with an even stronger fight. I always wanted to catch a sheeps head and caught one on the third day along with a bunch of other species. That evening I was tired of catching fish and went snorkling in a kelp forest,I think that was my favorite part of the trip, having so many different species so close to me. We finished off the trip by catching 10 lb white sea bass on friday.
Nice way to start off retirement!!![Wink]

Congratulations on your retirement!
Sounds like you started it off the right way!!
Approximately how much does a trip like that run including airfare? I have always wanted to take a fishing trip down that way, but was worried about the costs! Also, is this kind of trip something that my boy (age 11) would enjoy?

Photos, we want photos!!

Check out this website for Mexican fish identification. This helps identify those unusual salt water fish.

No bonefish or Tarpon in that area.
The trip is actually cheap $800.00 for the week on the boat and a couple hundred for tips. We drove down 18 hrs on the road 160 a piece for gas.
You can look up tony Reyes fishing on the web to see more of what they offer.

I took pic's but my home computer was too slow to show you, I will try again.
