I did a solo trip to Pineview this morning and just got back. All i can say is WOW!!!!! The first 25 minutes throwing a Gitzit produced 3 nice smallies. The second 25 minutes produced 4 more smallies and a 30" musky! The rest of the morning was spent hunting tigers and a few more smallies. I fished over to the Cem. Point north side and had a huge musky blow up on my buzzbait and launch it 6' out of the water. I missed him and the next cast hooked up on another 30"er that came off. 3 casts later i missed another and then had a long line release. One more long line release and that was the end of "calm water"! I saw a total of 19 fish before the w%$# started blowing. I had 3 fallows after the w. started on a j-13 Brown trout and then decided to call it a day. It is definately HOT, HOT, HOT!!!!
The buzzbait i was using was a large chartreuse with a gold triple-blade. The gitzits were cokebottle green with craw/anice smelly jelly.

It was cool to the touch! Just kidding. I only had my Vexilar today and didn't run the Bottom Line. I am sure it is in the 60's in the shallower bays.

Very nice , wish I could take off from work and go . I have another little tourney to do soon but after that I'll be giving the "View" a shot from my boat for the first time .

Here are the pics. I guess there are a couple pics of LMB out of Steeds Pond in there also. The largest smallie was 16". Not bad. As always with these species, all were released.

Actually BLM, i was in my alum. boat. Although i have caught my fair share from an old school float tube and u-boats. When i get my toon registered i will start using that more often for the bigger waters.
