We are headed up to fish the Kokanee at Porcupine this weekend, has anyone tried them there this year? We luv to catch a mess [Smile]and smoke them, they are great.

ive been there 3 times in the last week and all i can say is we dont call her the pig for nothing. only one really successfull trip. glow fire tip crippler was the best lure up there followed by pink koke-a-nut both rigged with sling blade dodgers

I hope you guys can find some and convince them they want a boat ride! Like Jason said, the last couple trips have really sucked. Good luck, and let us know how you do.

Was the water clear or is it stained from the run off? I've had problems in the past when it was a little stained trying to catch the Kokes. Also, did you mark many fish? I will let you know how the fishing was when I return. I'm about fished out on Willard. We didn't catch enough Walleye to place in last weekend's tourney, but my youngest son Paul did take big fish on the 2nd day with a 4lb. 3oz. Eye.[Smile]
