bass cod bluefin tuna gloucester ma. USA
#1
Fishing off Gloucester has been very good this spring. The cod and haddock off shore fishing is good the charters are going home with full coolers of cod haddock pollock and a few wolf fish.
The stripped bass inshore fishing also has been very good.We have been catching boston mackerel and live lining the macks for big cows on the north migration. What a fantastic surface hit on the surface when the bass blast up for the mackerel. Steve G cought a big bass on a mack fly while fishing off the bow ,his group was in the stern chunking with lots of keepers and may releases.
Giant bluefin tuna has now started and there has been fish harpooned and also taken on the troll.
Shark fishing is soon to start as the water warms up.
Good fishing Capt Gary Cannell
www.tunahunter.com 978-546-7992
