deer creek (help I am lost )

Ok last weekend we were down at pbh during the fishing rodeo. We were definately smellin skunk by 11 am so we told the fish and game guy we were pullin out to go try to catch some trout for dinner. He tried to draw me a map kinda sorta to a supposed honey hole on deer creek. He said something about a campground that is closed now and a half mile hike, lol since I havent' been to dc since I was a little kid, I have no idea where he is talkin about. does the description ring a bell with anyone?

He could be talking about Snow's Marina at the end of Wallsburg. The half-mile walk is probably from the gate down to the water. Access to Wallsburg is through a pull-off from 89 on the way to Heber from Provo. It is the first turn-off on the left side just past the main state park.
