Anyone fished Johnson Mill in Midway

Taking the wife to Johnson Mill for an anniversary. Not my first choice of places, but better than a hotel in downtown SLC.

Anyone ever fished Johnson Mill? If so, what was your experience?

We'll have a couple hours in the evening and morning and I thought I'd take the wife out on tubes and let her fly fish for a while.

I stayed there once for an anniversary....very nice place...loved it. One of the better B&B's I've stayed at. My wife made the reservation and I didn't know they had the pond and river there or else we would have brought rods to try it out. You could see plenty of fish in both the pond and the river and some real nice ones too. I would love to go back and give the fishing a try. Let us know how you do!

Contact 4 Seasons Fly Fishing in Heber. They will tell you what flies are working at Johnson. The river is trout fishng and is blue ribbon. My son says theres bass in the pond but I haven't fished it. He was using poppers in black on his fly rod.
