I had some time free up this morning, so I was able to meet up with Bassrods for a tour of his "office". It was cool this morning, with a heavy cloud cover, so we donned the fishing gear and headed out to see if we needed to do any housekeeping. The fishing was a little slow today. I got 6 fish to the boat, and I'm sure Cliff doubled that, as he is much more proficient at catching bass than I am. The day warmed nicely after the clouds went away, unfortunately the fishing stayed pretty slow. I learned some new techniques, which I hope I will be able to try again in the future. The bass today were on the smaller side, but they are still fun to catch. Cliff, thanks a bunch for the boat ride, and for the helpful fishing tactics.

Hey Brandon,
Good to hear you got out and hooked up with "the pro". Lake x used to be my favorite area until I learned I couldn't have Sparky with me and fish from my favorite conveyance, the tube.[unsure]
Read about the "low life" on the "other forum". Did anyone find the fish they dumped? What a waste. Good to hear you guys taking the time and effort to "take care of the problem".[mad]
