Millsite Reservoir is only about 4 or 5 miles west of Ferron. You could fish there for Cutts and rainbows.
Ferron Res. is about 25 miles west of Ferron up Ferron Canyon, on a gravel road.
Joe's Valley is not too far from there either, which you would get to by taking State Road 10 north towards Castle Dale, but then turning north (left) at the jct. with state road 57 and taking that road north for about 5 or 6 miles, then turning left (west) on State road 29 and following it for about 10 or 15 miles to Joe's Valley, for some huge Splake trout. Hope that helps.

If you drive past millsite ( I suspect thats where your reunion is, nice state park) head up ferron mountain, but for some fun shore action for some decent cuts, rainbows, brooks, and some tiger trout. Hit willow lake right off the road to ferron res, very scenic, and good flie and bubble action all day long. (renegades, royale coachman, masquito's, adams)spinners and jakes lures also work well. There is also fgerron, duckfork, and wrigley spring. These lakes are all within 6-10 miles of each ogther and about a half hr dr. from ferron. They all sit between 8000 and 10500' And are all very scenic. There is also alot of wild life to veiw (deer and elk) If you want more info on the area, PM me and I'll answer any questions you may have. Give us a report Lonnie
