Pineview 30 June 06
#1
Fished Pineview Yesterday from 0720 to 1200. Landed 3 Muskies Lgest. was 28-30 inches? Did not put a tape on any of them all were small. Also I did not take any pics forgot my camera. The smallest tiger was about 18. (Does anyone know are they still planting Muskies?) I didn't have any follows or see any Muskies that I didn't catch all the fish were caught in or around brush of some type.

Landed about 10 or so Smallies.

If you like to get on the water earlier than 0700 don't go to the Cemetery Point ramp the gate opens at 7 and closes at 10 pm. We had a 40 min wait not knowing that the hours had changed.

They are defenitely still planting them. Muskies grow very fast. They don't reproduce, so the 18" you caught must have been planted fairly recently.

When we targeted them I was using curly tail crubs Pearl white W/ black flake and Chart. colors worked the best. Sekos would work well also but I didn't use them. Only fished for Bass fished for about a hour. I also caught a few while Muskie fishing.

Thanks for trying. Most of the smallies were under a pound no real size to any of them.
