Record Walleye????

Just wondering if anyone has herd anything about a state record walleye being cought out of Willard around the 4th?? A guy in my carpool was saying a guy from hyrum cought it and took it to Hyrum State Park to have it measured by one of the fish cops there,I told him there was a musky cought at pineview on the 4th but I never herd anything about an eye???????

I guess anything is possibly but I would find it hard to believe. I guess the best thing to do would be to call the DWR to see if there is any truth to the rumor. If there is going to be a new state record caught, I would think it would come from Deer creek or Starvation, even Utah lake is a possibility but at some time in the future Jordanelle will likely produce a record eye. That is just my opinion since I have never heard of an eye over 10 lbs coming out of Willard.
