[red]Made unexpected trip back up into the Weir, Pot, Long, Marjorie lake area again this weekend. Fished Long Lake with no luck, fished Weir with consistant action on brookies, but very small size. Fished Marjorie with larger than normal Uinta brook trout and lots of grayling. SOme grayling going 11-12 inches. Most on gnat flies, but some on panther martin spinners. Sorry no pictures this trip![/red]

Way to go! That's a fun and relatively short hike. Did you use fly/bubble? How crowded, with both people and bugs? Any lightning?

[red]Bugs were bad, especially horse flies. Mosquites were quite tame to Uinta standards but still present. I used a spinner and did very well on the brook trout. Everyone else used a fly rod and mostly mosquito and gnat patterns and did very well especially on grayling. The crystal lake parking lot was full, but didnt encounter very many people at all. Maybe 8 total.
