Had a few worms left over from the weekend and knew my wife wouldn't want them in the fridge when she got back from Seattle so I set off to 'set them free'.
Started off at Kaysville Ponds. What a mucky mossy mess those have become. Every cast produced a blue gill. Worm wouldn't even make it to the bottom to see if I could find a kitty. If you like fast fishing for 'gills and don't mind moss, (and I mean a LOT of moss!) go to kaysville.
I got irritated quickly with the moss so went up to Holmes Creek Res. Same action, no moss. Never did find a kitty but I did hook a 9 inch crappie. Blue gills were bigger too. I fished the north end. If you take children I don't recommend the north end. VERY steep access path.
