Catfish on Utah Lake?

I haven't heard any reports lately about catfish on Utah Lake. Are they still biting? I'm thinking of taking my kids and heading out to Bird Island in the boat, but I don't want to waste a trip or discourage them. Any reports of recent success would be helpful.

Been catching a lot of tiny cat's latley down by the outlet to the Jordan. Nothing adult size, but just fine for my kids. Nightcrawlers and cut bait are working for the fish. You may want to use cut bait for the larger fish.

[#0000ff]Suggestions: Fish deeper water and use white bass meat. 5 out of the 8 we caught today were on white bass meat left over from last year. Also caught 3 on minnows but the white bass wouldn't leave minnows or small pieces of cut bait alone.[/#0000ff]
