Weekend Fishing - Schofield, Uintas
#1
Wonderful two days of fishing.
Saturday:
Hit Schofield with both my parents and grandfather at 9:00, the old man wanted to sleep in. I threw out my casting net and caught a few minnows for bait. Lots of real little one's 1 inch or smaller but managed to catch a dozen that went 2. Took the boat out between the island and east shorline. Caught thirteen between us all for the day. Bigest went 3 pounds and 18 inches, next was 18 inches and 2 1/2 pounds, the rest were 12 inches. 1 cutthroat(Grandpa's), 1 tiger trout(Dad's), and the rest were rainbows for all of us. Out of there by 2:00 pm. Only really successful anglers I talked to were using minnows or trolling with triple teasers and/or flat-fish in rainbow colors. Mostly heard it was slow, I guess they didn't know what to use or were holding their mouths wrong.

Sunday:
Went up to the Uintas for supper with the in-laws and a little fishing time at Moosehorn. Just my wife, baby and me fishing and a couple hours on the lake enjoying being out. Crawlers and a salmon egg under a bobber. Melissa with 2 and me a big fat zero, I couldn't have been more proud. I didn't catch any fish on Sunday but I still had the best catch on the lake being with my ladies.
