Roy (meadow creek) pond report

Fished for 2 hours this afternoon with the family and caught 5 catfish, 2 bluegill, 1 green sunfish, and 5 LMB! All on worms on the se corner and around the island. The cats were caught on the bottom, and the rest came on a single weightless hook and a crawler. Not huge(except for a 4# cat), but fun none the less.

Good to hear that you had a good time today. I must have just missed you. I manage the pond and spend several hours there on most days.
We have had a great year at the pond as a lot of good folks fish there. I enjoy talking to people there and listen to their stories about the kids catching fish and having a great time.
The Catfish stocking will end in a few weeks and planter trout will be comming in the fall.
The kids love the trout because they can fish for them with a worm and bobber and see the hits. A great way to learn how to fish!
