8 Day Fishing Trip to Mead...

Yep, it's that time of year again when I have to escape the joyous and peaceful surroundings of Los Angeles to venture out to the chaotic scene at Lake Mead. [] Anyway, I'm looking forward to my 8 day fishing trip. Looks like we'll be on a houseboat this time. Taking it out of Temple Bar and will likely stay in the area. Renting a fishing boat as well. We'll be out there from October 14 - 22...in Ladder Cove, The Temple, Heron Point and Monkey Cove. Feel free to stop by for some fresh stripers!!!

My trip is only 4 weeks away. The excitement and anticipation of the 8 day fishing trip is growing as each week passes. Now, I'm in the planning stage. I have seven people on the houseboat this time, although half the group is coming out to Temple Bar on Wednesday night. Spending our first night (Sat. 10/14) in the fishermen's cabin. The rest of our time will be spent on the houseboat. Got it all planned out. I wanted to head to the Temple for one day/night but I'm not sure how the fishing is there. Has anyone fished near the Temple before? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Oh, and my offer stands, fresh stripers will be readily available for all who come by the houseboat.
