Sept 9th fishing report
#1
Talk about a slow day of fishing. If it wasn't for the beautiful weather, I don't think I would have stayed but a few hours.

The first thing to our diSadvantage was it was a full moon tide, the second thing is we got to the dock right before high tide. LOL, the water was so damn high you couldn't find a mullet if you wanted. Luckily I bought a few mud minnows before I left out. However, they didn't do a lick of good. I drifted the better part of the entire inlet, and not a single strike, unless you count the blue crab that wouldn't let go. But even that wasn't a keeper. LOL, I might have kept him and ate him just for spite had it been a keeper. [Tongue]

The only thing that was biting in numbers was pinfish. I'm pretty sure I would have caught something had I been able to get to the reef. It was rough offshore, so I just putt putted around in the little boat. I hope yall did better than me!!! The only thing I caught was a sunburn.
