I wouldn't be the one to ask. I haven't been fishing this month. I would guess that it is fishing good and getting better as the water cools down. Good luck.

Try fishing a b.h. pheasant tail on the west side in 20' of water dead drifted under an indicator. This always works for me. Also, try a sheep creek special on a sink tip line all over the lake. This time of year has always been good for me there.

Figured that LOL If weather permits and we make it up there this weekend, any chance of bumping into you again hpd?

Don't mind fishing in this unseasonal cooler weather, the question is, how muddy is it. We have a small camping trailer (not a pop up, but a pop out if you know what I mean) we pull with a full size Van and don't want to get stuck. Plus if it is windy, forget it!

Possibly Sunday - I just got back from Ohio- fishing for smallmouths is pretty entertaining and the night life on South Bass Island is worth the trip! But I found out when I got back yesterday that my corral design for my pack goats has some flaws that the rains brought out and Saturday I have to deal with it.
