BFTers in the news
#1
[cool][#0000ff]BFT member and moderator flygoddess scored a BIG cuttbow at Henry's Lake in Idaho over the Labor Day weekend. She has posted pics on a couple of the boards, and Brett Prettyman included one pic in the Hook Shots Section (link) of today's Tribune.[/#0000ff]

What a fish! I saw that in the paper this morning, and then went to the web site to get a better look at the fish, since it wasn't identified in the paper. I thought it was just a big ol' rainbow.
Beautiful, isn't it?
Congratulations FlyGoddess !

That is one beautiful fish.

"No word yet on if her fish will make the cover of the 2007 utah fishing proclamation." Great little jab at the UDWR by Brett!

Thanks to you all. Specially you TD. It is the biggest fish on a fly rod for me ......for now[cool]
It did pull me around, for about 15 minutes, but still had enough energy to fly out of my hands and swim away. Never seen that out of a large fish in warmer water before.
Happy that I made it to the tribune, but to add to that, it was actually 34" long not 32". But what is a couple of inches LOL.
Thanks again all,
FG

What a great fish. I drove past Henry's Lake back in July and said to my wife, "I'll bet there are some big ole' fish in there." Thanks for proving me right.
