Does anyone know when they drained Mill Hollow? I decided to fish all 3 sections of the Provo today and made a stop at Mill Hollow to start out my quest. Well I felt a little silly when I pulled up to a huge mud pit. Kinda sucks, the tigers were starting to get some size to them and there were a ton of brookies in there and well as planter bows and albinos. There were a few work trucks parked on the dam so I figured they are doing dam repairs. But it's not the end of the world. In an unrelated incident, I hear hundreds of trash fish lost their lives in the Sevier river. Pity.
BTW, all 3 sections of the Provo are fishing well.

That stinks. That's a nice little fishin' hole. My Bro.-in-Law will not be happy, he loves fishing there in the Fall.

I was told that Mill Hollow is the second most unsafe dam in Utah. I guess that it needed to be drained for satety reasons. Now I just hope that they will repair it and fill it up again.

Okay, so what is the FIRST most unsafe. I'd like to know so that I can be sure NOT to camp below it.

I was up there last year and was told they were a year or two out from draining it and completely rebuilding it due to safety concerns? I drove by it on Labor Day and it was completely full with tons of fishermen. That is too bad as the tigers were starting to get some girth to them. I had a snowmobile adventure planned to fish it this winter.
