just go to the store and scan the price tags on lures, when it suddenly jumps by $10, you've found the pointers.[Wink]

Costly but deadly my friends. I'm glad to fork (pitchfork) over the cash for all the fish each one catches.

When you are looking to throw pointers consider this? Are you trolling or casting. Trolling is evil. Casting on the other hand is a blast.

Live Pointers- from the evil reports on here are good for trolling. They are a waste of money if you are casting. Live Pointers just don't run very deep. You can downrig them, but thats to evil.

Casting-sizes 78,90,97,100,128. There are Slender, shallow divers(3-5ft), deep divers(7-9ft), and Staysee 90's(about 12ft on 8lb line).

78's-shallow runner(says on the belly) and deep diver. 78sp is by far the most popular. 78DD have been out for awhile and run about 7-9(depends on the line. smaller line the deeper they will go).

100's-they are longer and a little wider than a 78. Sp's and DD's run about the same as a 78. Theyre just bigger.

128's- are even bigger, not made in DD's.

65's-almost forgot the little boogers sp and DD available.

Go with natural colors, anything that looks like bait will get eaten.

pointers are deadly in clear water such as: Strawberry, Jordanelle, Powell, Flaminge Gorge, Deer Creek, and anywhere else clear water is.

I have alot of Pointers and them mostly in the spring and fall. Beat the bank with them or go to the darkside and troll them in the middle of the lake.
