I fished Silver Lake today from 3:00 to 5:00. I fished from my float tube in the rain. The rain and wind wasn't so bad but when the lightning got close I decided to call it a day. At first I thought it was going to be really hot fishing. I caught 2 on the first cast and had an LDR on the 2nd. Then it slowed down. I ended up with 11 landed, 4 LDR's, and lots of bites. I pretty much had the lake to myself. One guy fished off the dock for about 15 minutes and an osprey flew by a couple of time. That was all the company that I had. Fished with fly and bubble.

One small brookie, the rest were planter bows. One of the bows had a treble hook in his mouth. But he still took my fly. I kept my fly. He kept his treble. I did trim off the extra line that he was dragging around.
