Had a pretty good day yesterday on one of the lakes just above the Utah border. Normal mix of fat 12" with enough 17" to 20" to make a beautiful fall day that much better. Best part was about 3:00 P.M. I noticed a few leapord frogs hopping over the moss. Threw on a big bass deer hair popper and picked up a few 20"ers. Not near as fast as casting a bugger into the banks but the explosion factor made the wait worth while.

Good to here it's still good there. I thought the warm water bite would have slowed down by now. Did you happen to check the water temp?

No I did not, though the water was cool it was not brrrrrr cold. Neither were 2 other lakes in the vicinity. They have dropped the lake quite a bit and the boat ramp is now out of the water.
