Need help with rig
#1
[#002850][crazy][mad][crazy][mad]I am clumsier than a dog trying to put on mittens when it comes to putting hooks into soft bait. I sure would like to know how to rig a Fin-S or a Zoom Super Fluke with a stinger. Heck I would even like to know how to do it properly without a stinger. Any help with this would be appreciated. Heck, I would even drive to your place to have you give me some hands on training.[/#002850]

I've used both treble and single hook stingers with "soft baits" and found that if I let the stinger hook just trail behind with being punctured through the bait, I get a more natural swim from the lure. Plus the hook-ups are still there. And I like the colored hooks, especially red, for stingers.
If you're wanting to free-swim your bait without a weighted jig head, which is great at times, I get the hooks with multiple barbs up the shank to help hold the bait on. I've also used my daughters' braces rubber bands, the tiny ones, and put it around the "collar" of the bait to hold it more tightly.
Don't know if that's what you were looking for or not.
Good luck!
