FISHING REPORT FOR NOVEMBER 22, 2006

Arcadia: Elevation below normal. Channel catfish being caught on cut shad. Crappie are being caught around boat docks at 11 ft. on chartreuse and white or red and white jigs. Report submitted by Tim Campbell, game warden stationed in Oklahoma County.

Hefner: White bass and striped bass hybrids being caught on jigs and cut bait. Channel catfish are being caught on liver, shrimp and cut fish. Report submitted by Kelly Roberson, game warden stationed in Oklahoma County.<br />
Overholser: Channel catfish are being caught with liver and cut bait. Crappie being caught with jigs and minnows. Report submitted by Kelly Roberson, game warden stationed in Oklahoma County.<br />
Thunderbird: Elevation 9 ft. below normal and clear. Crappie good on minnows and tube jigs at 6-8 ft. around structure. Saugeye good on jigs, sassy shad and medium-diving crankbaits with slow retrieve in the evenings off points. Report submitted by Tony Woodruff, game warden stationed in Cleveland County. NORTHEAST

Ft. Gibson: Elevation normal, water 58 and clear. White bass fair around rocky points and bridges. Catfish good on juglines baited with shad and rod and reel. Crappie good on jigs and minnows at 15-20 ft. around brush piles. Report submitted Marvin Stanley, game warden stationed in Wagoner and Muskogee counties.<br />
Grand: Elevation below normal and clear. Channel catfish good on juglines at 15 ft. using cut and whole shad. White bass can still be caught around rocky gravel points and near lake tributaries. Report submitted by Jim Littlefield, game warden stationed in Delaware County.<br />
Greenleaf: Elevation normal and clear. Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits and spinnerbaits along the shoreline. Catfish fair in cut bait on bottom. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs around the fishing dock and brush structure. Report submitted by Lark Wilson, game warden stationed in Muskogee County.<br />
Kaw: Elevation muddy to clear. Striped bass are fair in the tailwaters on live shad. Crappie fair on dark colored jigs at 20-22 ft. around brush piles. Report submitted by Marshall Reigh, game warden stationed in Kay and Grant counties.<br />
Keystone: Nov. Largemouth bass good on spinnerbaits and jig and chunk at 3-6 ft. in creeks and coves. Smallmouth bass fair on crankbaits and jig and chunk at 5-8 ft. off ledges. Spotted bass good on crankbaits and spinnerbaits at 5-8 ft. off bluffs. White bass fair on small spoons and on 1/ 8 oz white jigs and grubs at 4-8 ft. off points. Striped bass below the dam are being caught on top water and red fins from the surface to 3 ft. Striped bass in lake are being caught on shad and big swim baits at 5-10 ft. off main lake points. Channel catfish good on worms and stinkbaits at 4-8 ft. in coves and creeks. Blue catfish good on shad and punch baits at 5-10 ft, in the flats and humps. Flathead catfish slow on shad and shiners at 5-10 ft. around bluffs and riprap. Crappie good on jigs and minnows at 10-20 ft. around brush piles and dock areas. Tenkiller: Elevation 5 ft. below normal and clear. Smallmouth bass fair in brush at 15-20 ft. on bass jigs. Crappie fair around brush at 15-20 ft. on tube jigs and fair around docks at 10-20 ft. on minnows or jigs. Sunfish good around docks or bluffs on worms at 10-15 ft. Webbers Falls: Elevation normal and murky. Largemouth bass fair on jigs and worms along riprap and brush structure. Catfish fair on cut bait and stinkbait on bottom. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs around bridges. Report submitted by Lark Wilson, game warden stationed in Muskogee County.<br />
NORTHWEST<br />
Canton: Elevation 6 ft. below normal. Crappie good on minnows and jigs around brush. Report submitted by Mark Walker, game warden stationed in Blaine County. SOUTHWEST<br />
Arbuckle: Elevation 5 ft. below normal, water 56 and clear. Crappie excellent on spoons and jigs around drop-offs and brush piles. White bass good on spoons on creek bends and drop-offs. Bass fair to good using crankbaits, white spinnerbaits at 12-20 ft. Report submitted by Jack Melton.<br />
Blue River: Elevation normal, water 50 and clear. Largemouth bass fair on flies and minnows. Channel catfish fair on liver and worms. Trout good on power bait, super dupers, rooster tails and meal worms. Report submitted by Charles Baker, technician at Blue River Public Fishing and Hunting Area.<br />
Broken Bow: Water murky. Bass good off points on salt craws, jig heads and soft plastics. Catfish good on trotlines and juglines bait with cut bait or sunfish. Report submitted by Dru Polk, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.<br />
Eufaula: Elevation 3 1/2 ft. below normal. Largemouth bass good on crankbaits at 3-6 ft. in creek channels. Blue catfish slow. Crappie fair on jigs or minnows at 12-20 ft. around boat docks. Report submitted Ed Rodebush, game warden stationed in McIntosh County.<br />
Hugo: Elevation slightly below normal, water 64 and murky. Largemouth bass fair on spinnerbaits. Crappie fair on minnows. Blue catfish fair on stinkbait and cut bait. Report submitted by Wendell Smalling, game warden stationed in Choctaw County.

Konawa: Elevation 1 ft. below normal, water 53 and clear. Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits at 10 ft. off points and road beds. Report submitted by Daryl Howser, game warden stationed in Seminole County. McGee Creek: Elevation 1 1/2 ft. below normal, water 65 and clear. Largemouth bass fair on soft plastic lures at 6-15 ft. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs at 10-20 ft. around cedar brush. Report submitted by Larry Luman, game warden stationed in Atoka County. Lower Mountain Fork River: The powerhouse has been very active lately releasing water in the morning hours and again in the evening. This makes fishing in zone two a real problem. Night fishing is a possibility, but be sure you have a buddy with you. This morning the guys were catching trout on #22 thread midges, caddis emergers, and wooly buggers. Other good flies have been soft hackled "spiders", copper john, egg patterns, San Juan worms, etc. Lots of small tan caddis and small black caddis hatching, as well as a multitude of midges. Robert S. Kerr: Elevation above normal, water 52 and clear. Largemouth bass fair at 6-8 ft. using crankbaits fishing the rock, and riprap areas around the lake. Crappie good at 10 ft. using minnows fishing the old creek channels. White bass fair at 8-10 ft. using shad imitation baits fishing below Webbers Falls dam. Blue catfish good at 5-15 ft. using fresh cut shad, minnows and worms fishing the roosting areas of the cormorants. Flathead catfish good at 20 ft. using live bait on trotlines. Sardis Lake: Crappie good along structure on minnows and jigs and off bridges. Largemouth bass fair on shallow running crankbaits and spinnerbaits running shallow. Report submitted by Allen Couch, game warden stationed in Pushmataha County.<br />
Texoma: Elevation 3 ½ ft. below normal and falling. Water 64 and clear. Largemouth and smallmouth bass fair at 5-10 ft. on plastic baits around underwater structure. Striped bass fair to good at 10-20 ft. on live bait and slabs at Platter Flats and the Islands. Channel and blue catfish fair at 10-20 ft. on cut bait at Little Glasses Creek. SOUTHWEST<br />
