Scofield 11-23

There is no safe ice at Scofield. There was almost no ice at all. Found a little bit on the north end of the lake and some between the boat slips tied up on the west side of the lake. Ice will be a few weeks.

Fish that wanted what we had were as hard to find as the ice. Caught one with a Rapala, one on a jig tipped with a minnow and finally one on power bait and that was it. Fished from about 6:45 am to noon.

That makes it very hard to start the contest with the warm weather. Thanks for making the trip, now I dont have to wast my fuel to findout that there is no ice.
