COLORADO DIVISION OF WILDLIFE TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETING IN STERLING ON DECEMBER 6TH
#1
Come join the DOW on Wednesday, December 6 at the Ramada Inn, 22140 West Highway 6, Sterling, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for a public meeting offering an opportunity for attendees to discuss wildlife-related topics or concerns, as well as learn updates on Division of Wildlife activities.

"The Colorado Division of Wildlife serves many publics including hunters, anglers and wildlife watchers," said Scott Hoover, DOW Northeast Regional Manager. "Public meetings provide us a chance to hear directly from the communities interested in and affected by wildlife; we welcome any and all participants."

Colorado Wildlife Commissioner Claire O'Neal will also be on hand to give the public an opportunity to meet their Wildlife Commissioner and to hear concerns, suggestions, or questions about Colorado's wildlife management. O'Neal is a Certified Public Accountant and represents the public-at-large. She has been a member of the Commission since 2004.

The Colorado Division of Wildlife is the state agency responsible for managing wildlife and its habitat, as well as providing wildlife related recreation. The Division is funded through hunting and fishing license fees, federal grants and Colorado Lottery proceeds through Great Outdoors Colorado.
