Historically speaking, Jordanelle (PWC (south) ramp) has been boatable year round with the exception of a few days one year. Even when Rock Cliffs and Hailstone ramps are completely iced in, the PWC ramp remains open and is usually ice and snow free due to the southern exposure.

sorry curt i havent fished it for awhile, so dont know about the ice i was just relaying what one of my non-bft buddys told me.
