Otter Creek ice????

Anybody been past otter creek lately. I want to head down in the morning but I don't know if it is safe yet. I drove past Koosharem last week to pick up a Christmas tree and it looked solid, but it doesn't have the strange currents of otter creek.

If anyone has information, let me know.

Drove past early Wednesday morning, before full sun-up. In the poor light, the ice looked fairly thin still.

i drove past last saturday. was capped. my buddy just told me his dad fished it yesterday (th). said they caught "40 big ones". [] (not sure how exaggerated that is...take it how you want). i think there were 2 of them fishing. that's all the info i heard. don't know where they fished or how thick the ice was. good luck and be careful if you go.

Thank you for the update. I think I will head down for sure. There are a lot of nice fish to be caught, most of which are over 2lbs this time of year.
