my buddy Todd and myself hit scofield this morning at 7, we had our limits by 9.30. we fished on the south end in about 20 foot of water. caught all but a couple using white jigs and nightcrawler.
total fish caught between us was 20 to 30 fish most of them being nice ones. not a bad way to start the ice season out. the ice was between 6 and 8 inches thick.

there wasn't that many people on the whole lake, maybe 50 to 60 at the most.
