just curious if anyone knows if they are having the derby this year.tried to find info on it but have had no luck.was wanting to try it this year instead of sulfur creek.any info would be appreciated.thanks

yes they have that tourny every year. Unfortunately the fees keep going up. It's $50 this year. Not sure if you're required to buy an out-of-state license or not...does anyone know if that is included in the tourny fee?

We've always had to purchase a non-resident permit, in addition to the entry fee.

How much is a non-resident license? That makes for a spendy fishing excursion. One of these years I'll just have to save my pennies and go.

I was there last year. We had to buy our wy licences. The fishing was just ok. But we had a good time. I will go back this year just for the get-a-way and good time on the ice. Once thing your really have to watch out for out there is slush!!!!! It almost always has slush on it at tounament time. Last year I got a snowmobile stuck and that really sucked. I guess all I am saying is come prepared for dang cold weather and slush. If you need any more info shoot me a pm.
