CORNING - Rising waters in northeast Arkansas have prompted the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission to close deer hunting in the Black River flood prone region.
When water on the Black River gauge at Corning exceeds 11 feet, deer hunting is immediately suspended until water levels fall below 9.5 feet on the gauge.<br />
