Sorry for the late report but we are i-net challenged at home for now.
Fishing was good both days. Plenty of 14-16" bows and a couple ~13" cutts. Many small bows too.
Used ice flies with worms just off the bottom. The bite was VERY soft!
Snow ~ 4-5" on the ice and the 4 wheeler had no problems. There were other wheelers and sleds in many locations. The E-W pressure ridge was not a problem. Air temps were quite cold but light winds and sunshine made for comfortable days.

Went to scofield today the 26 and had a rough time finding the fish.. took the atv to the island and only caught a couple small planter rainbows.. it was a awsome day for the weather and saw a few people catch some nice bows but not a great day for us. I got a new scout fish finder for christmas and tried it out today, but couldnt really see anything in the water. im wondering if i just dont really now how to use it or if its just not that good or what. just hoping someone knows more about it then me?

Water clarity is a huge issue with any under water Cam. I find its rare to be able to see fish more than 10 - 12 feet away even in what I consider clean water. I usually set my cam up so its about 4-6 feet from my lure, closer in stained waters. The cam dont usual bother the fish as fas as the bite. In fact, often larger fish will actually swim up and strike the cam..
