Fishing Reports
#1
[Wink]The perch have been bitting on Winni, in 28-34 ft of water using a jig and head of minnow. Lots of 10 - 12 inchers are being caught with a 13 every so often !. The crappie bite is hit and miss on Red Lake, but the rest of the state is doing fine, but with smaller fish, except on those secret lakes. The crappie bite will continue to get better as the season goes on. The sunfish bite is there , but you have to move around to find them, try fishing the smaller lakes with the weed edge around 9-11 ft, using a wax worm. The tullipee bite hasn't started yet, but a few diehards are still going after them and getting a few! The walleye bite on LOTW is doing great, lots of fish, but lots of sorting! The Pike on LOTW is there, but going to get better when March gets here. If your having any luck let us know, until next time, keep your rods bent.
