The Northeast Outdoors Show Announces Schedule for 2007 Season
#1
EXHIBITOR BOOTHS STILL AVAILABLE FOR MARCH 2007 SHOW

ALBANY, N.Y., January 3, 2007 - The annual first call of trout and turkey season for outdoor enthusiasts in the Capital Region and beyond, the Northeast Outdoors Show will celebrate its 21st season at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center in Albany, N.Y., on March 16 - 18, 2007.

A perennial favorite, the Northeast Outdoors Show is the only one of its kind from Rockland County to Canada devoted to fishing, hunting, boating, camping and other outdoor family activities. The show is ideally suited to meet the interests of thousands of outdoor enthusiasts who reside in the Capital Region, Vermont and Massachusetts. More than 100 exhibitors will showcase the latest products and services geared to a wide array of outdoor activities.

New this year, the show will feature the Crosman Portable Airgun Range with the speed shoot target system. The system is designed to test the accuracy of novices and sharpshooters alike as it challenges participants to knock down five four-inch metal disks while "under the gun." The airgun range can be adjusted in distance to fit different levels of expertise.

This year's show has some big shoes to fill. Sponsored, in part, by Red Wing Shoes, the Northeast Outdoors Show will showcase the world's largest leather boot. The iconic footwear, which measures 70 feet long, 25 feet high and 30 feet wide, will be on display on the Empire State Plaza mosaic. The Red Wing Mobile Boot Experience is manufactured and designed by the popular Minnesota-based show company which outfitted the U.S. Military in World War I and II.

The Northeast Outdoors Show will also feature a variety of family-friendly activities including the Pete Rickard Indoor 3-Spot Championship, live predatory animals, a fully stocked trout pond, wildlife food, turkey calling contests, the ultimate camping package giveaway, door prizes and much more.

The Northeast Outdoors Show will be held Friday, March 16 from 4 - 9 p.m.; Saturday, March 17 from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.; and Sunday, March 18 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 4 to 11. Children 3 and under, accompanied by an adult, are admitted free.

Guests receive $2 off adult admission with a Stewart's Shops Milk Club card.

Exhibitor booths for the Northeast Outdoors Show are still available. For information on exhibitor booths and show attractions, please contact Cate Masterson at (518) 383-6183 or log on to www.northeastoutdoorshow.com. Booths are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
