Got to the marina about 8am. By the time we got the three four-wheelers unloaded and out on the ice. it was about 9am before we started fishing. We only iced about 10 fish between 3 adults and 2 kids. Had a hard time finding fish. Once found the bite was good. We sure hooked alot. Just could'nt keep them on. Just about any color of jig tipped with chub meat worked. We fished about a mile south of the marina. Water was 38 feet deep. Fish were at bottom. Later in the day they were suspended 10-30 feet. Tried going to Renegade, but that pressure ridge by Haws Point didn't look too safe. It looked like a four-wheeler actually went through the ice.
Needless to say we didn't go to Renegade. We all had a good day out on the ice. And got home in one piece.
