Very nice!! Those are some real hogs there. I think you should hold them closer to the camera next time so they appear even larger : )

Incredible bass. So are you going to give up some info on where you were and what you used? Was that in Mexico? Awesome man, great job.

Ahh...a good lesson in fish photography. If you really want people to think you caught a fish much larger than you really had, follow these simple rules as shown in these photos:

1: Use a somewhat wide angle setting on the camera lens
2: Hold the fish as close to the camera as you can, while still keeping the fisherman in the background of the photo.
3: Hold the fish away from your body, and straight toward the camera, hiding your outstretched arms.

Now, before someone jumps all over me for criticising those fish, those are some really, really nice bass there. Frankly, I see no need to exaggerate the size of those fish with photography tricks. Those are impressive by any standards.

I agree with you...

Either way, they are great fish, and I wouldn't complain about catching them. [cool]

Those are 10lb Mexican largemouths'. I thought we exiled those two. Like a bad penny, they keep coming back. I would of went there too instead of Shasta.

We fished with Lake Comedero Lodge Jan 6th-8th. You can find them on the web. A great ma & pa operation, I highly recommend them if your hunting Mexican hawgs.

The 10lb'er was caught on a big Mission Fish Swimbait. I feel she would have been closer to 12lb if she wasn't spawned out. I will fire up my laptop later tonight and post a couple of different angles so you can see her better.

The picture of Roy Hawk doesn't really do that fish justice! That was a 9lb + fish caught on a frog.

The twilight picture of the frog fish was a little trick photography. It was the last fish I caught, she was about 6lbs.

Oh and we caught probably 200 fish in 3 days. 100 of which were over 5lbs, but we only threw big baits 90% of the time.

I guess if the fishin's slow there's always something else to do.
Brings a whole new meaning to fishing the weeds.
