Pineview 1-18 report

Fished Pineview today with LH2 for a few hours caught a bunch of perch and one crappie LH@ had a looker at his musky jig but it wasnt intrested. we could see it under the ice. good times

Actually Jason came from well behind and got within 10 of me. He gets credit for that. That was a big tiger btw.

I fished pineview today also.. I owe lunkerhunter a big thanks.. we started out at about 1 and fished until dark... I caught 9 crappie (my first crappie ice fishing) and about 30 perch... it was a blast.. there were times that as soon as I dropped the line down to the bottom I would pull the line up and I would have one.. it was cold though.. all in all a great day

I did notice something interesting though... I started fishing a ratso below a small castmaster and I did ok.. then i rigged my second pole up with a ratso below just a splitshot sinker, nothing else.. that did much better.. I switched my other pole over to that and that was much better than fishing with the castmaster...

no kitties... but the other fun thing was during the last half hour we moved from about 55 feet of water to about 10 feet of water and we could not keep the bluegill off of our lines.. we caught probably 20 or 30 each over the last 30 minutes...
