Super Seminars - March 8th
#1
On March 8, the Coastal Conservation Association Maryland (CCA MD) will host 2 Super Seminars for saltwater anglers. Both seminars will feature well known fishing experts who will share their many years of combined experience fishing the Chesapeake.

The Baltimore Chapter Super Seminar is at Heritage Gardens in Parkville from 9am-4pm. Capt. Norm Bartlett and Capt. Brady Bounds, 2 of the first fly fishing guides on the Bay, Capt. Skip Slomski, a charter boat captain with a twist on trolling he calls “light tackle trolling”, Capt. Gary Neitzey, a Susquehanna Flats expert guide, and outdoor writer Ed Russell will each conduct 1 hour seminars beginning at 10am.

For those on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, the Mid-Shore Chapter will host their 3rd Annual Super Seminar at St. Mark’s Fellowship Hall in Easton from 9am-1pm (doors open at 8am for registration). Capt. Richie Gaines, Lowrance Electronics Super Pro Staff, Capt. Pete Dahlberg, a.k.a. Walleye Pete, Joe Capozzoli, St. Croix Rods Pro Staff, and John Page Williams, senior naturalist for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, will each give a 1 hour seminar.

Capt. Gaines will help you become a better fisherman using your electronics, Walleye Pete will share his light tackle jigging techniques for rock and trout and trolling secrets for doormat flounder, Joe Cap will detail ultra light spin and fly tackle opportunities on the Eastern Shore, and John Page will offer advice on choosing boats and motors for the Chesapeake, knowledge he’s gained from his many years exploring the Bay and its tributaries in many types of vessels for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.

Admission for both events is $15/person, but admission is FREE with the purchase of a $25 1 year CCA membership. Admission to the Baltimore seminar includes coffee and doughnuts for breakfast, beverages, and a hot lunch. Reservations should be made in advance, there will be a limited number of tickets at the door because of the catering. For the event in Easton, admission includes coffee, sodas, and doughnuts, and tickets will be available at the door.
