Holmes Creek
#1
Hit Holmes Creek today. Made swiss cheese out of the ice until I found some fish. All in all a good day. Ended up catching 10 bows (mostly suspended between 10-15') biggest going 14". 3 bluegill, and 2 white bass 10" and 14" the bigger put up a great fight. Ice was popping and cracking all day. When I came off the ice at around 6pm broke through right at the edge, about the last 3' close to shore had melted in the sun. Every where else the ice was 8-12" but with this warm weather that will be changing quickly.

All of the lower level lakes/ponds will start to soften around the edges this week. Hopefully as temps return to normal, they will firm back up and give us a little while longer on the hard deck.
