Went up to Jordanelle this afternoon. Had to go shopping for a new battery for my fish finder in the morning. (The one I have been using belongs in my bike which got pulled out of winter storage yesterday) After finding one I got on the ice about 11:30. pulled out two small bows in the first half hour and my buddy snaged a 12 inch perch. After that I could get the perch to bite occasionaly but never get them on the hook.
Fished in 49 feet of water. If i'm not mistaken from tube dude's pics, I think I fished in the middle of his holes from yesterday. Went out further into 84 ft of water but still couldn't get any fish on the hook.

That's a monster perch! I wonder what the state record is for Perch? I caught a nice fat Perchie at Mantua about 6 or 7 weeks ago..didn't have a measuring tape, but it was easily the biggest I've ever caught.

I was out there as well. I was fishing next to the red atv. I managed 40-50 perch but only 12 were fillet-able, between 9-12".
I only managed 2 small slimers, I never saw any others come thru on the vexilar. I did lose 6-8 nice perch to the tree's. I was fishing in 42' in thick submerged tree's.

I knew I should have come over and said hi. But we got out there late and then I didn't catch much. So I wasn't much for talking on the way back.
Glad to hear you had some action for the day. I don't know if it was trees, weeds or what; but there was a lot of brush below us as well.
