Black Sea Bass Tip
#1
I was just on the NC board and noticed an angler there that was catching a ton of small sea bass, but no keepers. There is a trick to catching the bulls among the calfs.

Sea bass school in two different levels, sometimes three. The smaller fish are generally on the bottom of the totumpole. If you find yourself snagging smaller seabass just short of being a keeper, give your reel 3 or 4 cranks and fish above your regular spot. More times than not, you'll start catching keepers. The bite might be a tad slower, but the fish will be bigger. Sometimes you'll get in a school that doesn't have larger fish. Keep moving around the reefs structure until you find them. Don't pass anything up, no matter how small the structure is. Alot of time it's the smaller rocks and things that people over look that are holding the most fish. [cool]
