Fished East canyon today with some buddies. When we first arrived there was a little bit of ice from the Dixie hollw area to Taylor hollow. Fishing was slow there so we went over to Taylor hollow and fished there. We ended up catching around 15-20 between the three of us. The wind started picking up around 11:30 and the fishing died. When we left about 1:00 the ice was almost gone. It should be completely gone by tonight. Used several types of lures from jigs and spoons to spinners and Rapala's. Caught fish on everything but nothing was dynamite.

No boats on the water. There were a couple other people scattered around the lake fishing from the bank. The water was a little off color by the dam and by the inlets, but over by Taylor hollow it was pretty clear.Lots of junk floating around though, sticks, worm conatiners, pop-cans, the usual trash.

Very nice. Those bigger bows up there sure are fun to catch.

SE side of the lake about 3/4 of a mile from the river inlet. It is a big indent in the lake that comes right up to the road.
