Drove by both Newton and Cutler today and the gate at the Cutler ramp in Cache Jct. is still locked(WHY??),I was going to try for some of those spring cats tommorrow but I guess we will hit Newton instead,it looks to have 2-3hundred yards of open water from the dam up to where it heads back to the N.W.The boat ramp is still frozen solid so we will have to launch on the west side,hopefully those musky's are hungry!!"BIG FISH RULE"M.H.[cool][cool][cool]

Musky's were not hungry today but we did put a hurtin on the ice cap that is still on down by the dam,there's about 1.5in. of rotten ice we broke it up as much as we dared so the south end should be open in a couple days if the weather stays the way it has been,we did hook a few bass down by the dam in 22'with jigs tiped with worm!!"BIG FISH RULE"M.H.
