WIND FINALLY LETS UP
#1
[Wink] SHELL BEACH, LA. REPORT.....Well the wind finally let up and we were able to get into the marsh and hunt for Redfish and we had a great day. Two of my regulars Fred and Sonny were ready to get after them this morning as we had cancelled twice in the last two weeks because of the high winds, but today was different. We fished a few small gas platforms for trout picking up some nice ones before heading into the marsh to spoon feed some redfish. Dropped the Minn Kota and starting working the shorelines in the clear brackish water and the bite was on. The key was to throw as close to the grassline as possible and retrieve the spoon out slowly. Fred and Sonny had a great time hooking and fighting these brutes in 2 feet of water which really added to the visual effect as the reds would break water and churn up the bottom. This is one of my favorite types of fishing. Ended the day with 9 reds and 15 trout. ANOTHER GREAT DAY IN THE YAMAHA POWERED BLAZER BAY.

CHALLENGER RODS AND H&H TACKLE HAULED THEM IN AGAIN.

Good way to slam the Reds Skipper. I'm sure you left some happy customers today.[cool]

Those reds look even nicer with the BFT sticker in the pic.[Wink]
