I use them at times in Cali. I get them from the local reptile supply house. The are cheaper then the few bait shops that "Might" have them.
I actually use them for Bluegills.[ ![]() I do believe that you can order them online at that Rainbow Worms place.[cool] [signature]

I found one place on line that sells them, they wanted a dollar apeice per worm.. a bit high for blue gill fishing. Its kinda like paying 32 dollars for a dozen crawlers... at that price the crawlers would still be a better buy...
I got a free tub of them several years back from a distributer north of here, I never did get to use them, they went bad before I got the chance... what kind of prices are you seeing them at? I was just wondering if any one had seen them with a reasonable price [signature]

try them on your pizza,
they have a crunchy buttery flavor [sly] "not" I bet they would give a taquila worm a run for the bottle...[laugh] [signature]

I've never tried anything like that. My prefered bait for panfish are wax worms. They are 3.75 per container and they work great. They are a small white worm, a perfect "bite size" morsal for those wonderful little ankle biters. [
![]() I'm going to try a different rig this season for panfish. Instead of the traditional bobber w/ a split shot half way down then a hook, i'm going to use a tiny lead head jig for the hook and weight, then thread the wax worm on the hook. I think it'll work great. [cool] [signature]

My local place has them for around 6 bucks for 50 or 10 bucks for 100. I did find a place on line that is not as good as my home boys but they are still better than the price you mentioned.
Give this one a shot. [url "http://www.recorpinc.com/pricingcdn.html"]Fish Bait[/url] [cool] [signature]

thanks, I dont realy want any at the moment. I was wanting prices.
I want to check the competitiveness of price for this type of bait... and the distribution of this bait. I may want to give them a try about the end of april for trout... a fly is a fly, just so long as it aint a stink bug.[ ![]() [signature]

You are welcome my friend. These worms can be kept just like meal worms and waxies. I have a fridge just for bait. I keep the Butters, Mealies, Waxies and others in there. The chill just helps to suspend their metamorphysis.
I am working on some new colorings for my Crawlers too. I will keep you informed when I have success.[cool] [signature] |
